Kitchen Island Transformation

I recently updated my kitchen center island from white to espresso using Rust-Oleum 263231 Cabinet Transformations, Small Kit, Espresso. Took me five evenings. The photos below are in order from removing the hardware, painting inside of cabinet and drawers, sanding, clean and degloss for a better bond of the paint, two coats of the espresso paint, decorative glaze (not recommended for this dark of a project as it doesn’t show), and final protective coat. I also added two Rev-A-Shelf – 5WB1-1218-CR – 12″ Single Wire Basket (18″ Depth) pull out drawers on the bottom shelf.  I am happy with the transformation.
